Christian Dyckerhoff
If you follow the Cher tributary of the Loire far enough upstream, you will eventually get to its own little tributary, the Arnon, where Benedicte and Christian Dyckerhoff have their five hectares of vines planted on slopes of limestone marl and terraces of sand and gravel. The Sauvignon vines here produce a wine that rings with the same chimes as a good Sancerre, yet with subtle differences. Ideal as an aperitif, delicious with fish, perfect with fresh cheeses.
